Feel free to submit any active website that falls into the categories on 404PageFound. This is not the Wayback Machine, so please do not submit any links to outdated versions of webpages. Sites can be either self-hosted or a subpage of a larger domain (such as .edu). In general, consider:
- A site created and last modified before the year 2000
- A site that still maintains an original Web 1.0 look although it may be recently updated
- Graphical sites only – no strictly text sites, Usenet summaries, individual text articles, etc. published in the given timeframe
- Free hosted sites such as GeoCities are not preferred, but do have their place
We will briefly review the site, and if it matches most of our criteria we will post it in the gallery as soon as possible. The Criteria page lists all site features that 404PageFound judges upon.
